His career spans roles such as Classroom Teacher at Agape Secondary School (2003-2006), Head of Science Department at Namiryango Secondary School (2007-2010), and Deputy Head Teacher of Administration and Head Teacher at St. Julian High School-Gayaza (2011-2017). Since 2018, he has been serving as the Principal at St. Julian Schools-Gayaza.

Throughout his career, Desmus has demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills. He is fluent in English, Luganda, and Lusoga, and is highly regarded for his interpersonal skills, which enable him to work effectively in team-oriented environments. Beyond his professional commitments, he enjoys watching football, strategic planning, and tours and expeditions. Desmus is a dedicated family man, married with four children.
